What is ADSL?

ADSL is a permanent, high-speed internet connection on a standard Telstra®  analogue home phone line and ADSL has been launched specifically to supply this service to residential users.

In order to use ADSL, Telstra® need to enable your analogue line at the telephone exchange and then a ADSL modem and filter needs to be install by the customer.

This ADSL service is then connected to your computer(s).

ADSL adds an 'always on', permanent high-speed internet connection to your normal telephone line which can be shared throughout an office or home.
